adding MX to corn dextrin

8 TBL Turquoise MX dye and soda ash were added to 1 3/4 cup pre-mixed corn dextrin. This was applied to the cloth and allowed to dry. Fushia was then sprayed over and the fabric batched. Later, I took some of the resulting fabric and added the black, then pieced the two fabrics back together.
If I remember correctly, I found that if I rolled or squeeged the fushia over the dry turquoise/corn dextrin, the turquoise bled into the fushia. Spraying solved that problem.
